Helene Dee
Helene began her journey into Paganism while studying physics in the early 1990s and has always loved a mix of science and spirituality. She was an active-duty Air Force officer for four years after graduation, then worked in fields related to computer network security, technology consulting, office management and web accessibility. As a queer, non-binary, and neurodivergent person, she has also been involved in advocacy supporting the value of disability and LGBTQ+ perspectives.
Pagan spirituality and magic have been deep passions of hers, mostly as a solitary practitioner but occasionally as part of a group. She is an initiate of Third Road Faerie witchcraft, and is currently studying Greencraft TCW. She is an ordained Deaconess with Sacred Well Congregation, and pursuing ordination and her Community Ministry Certificate through Cherry Hill Seminary. Her other academic pursuits have continued as well, and she has earned a master’s degree in sociology while working toward her Ph.D. in the same. She is also an avid martial artist and fitness enthusiast, seeking to cultivate strength and flexibility of mind, body and spirit.
Helene lives in the wooded mountains of western Massachusetts with her spouse, rescue dogs, and much surrounding wildlife.
